Challenge
Tillbridge Solar was proposed in a contentious area alongside three other solar projects with varying reputations. To secure support and build a social licence to operate, the project needed to distinguish itself through trust and transparency.
Approach
Copper introduced a co-design approach, delivering:
- community workshops to explore local aspirations, concerns and opportunities
- open dialogue around site selection and project benefits
- a feedback loop via a published workshop report, showing how input shaped the evolving scheme.
