Challenge
Wildfox Resorts required a long-term strategic communications and stakeholder engagement partner to guide its proposed adventure resort in Afan Valley, South Wales through planning and into development.
The project involved coordinating across diverse local audiences and political stakeholders, and brand-building for both the Afan site and national-level ambitions across three UK locations.
Approach
Copper was brought on as a trusted communications and branding partner to deliver across multiple workstreams, by:
- leading all stakeholder and community engagement, including meetings with businesses, environmental groups and political leaders at Neath Port Talbot Council
- producing bilingual communications collateral across physical and digital channels (newsletters, posters, social media and press releases)
- delivering core narrative and messaging for both Wildfox Resorts Group and the Afan Valley project, with dedicated strategies for heritage, social value and the Welsh language
- managing all incoming engagement via website enquiries and local channels
- conducting attitudes reporting and customer persona analysis to support planning and marketing
- on the branding side, refreshing the logo, creating a new colour palette, developing visual identity guidelines and designing promotional collateral across formats including PowerPoint, posters, infographics and more.
