Challenge
To produce multi-functional, cross-sector documentation to introduce a new business unit while aligning with the client’s visual identity requirements. These materials had to:
- introduce the organisation and support strategic conversations
- work across sectors and adapt to different customer needs
- remain strictly on-brand and be accessibility-compliant.
Approach
Copper worked closely with the central marketing team to evaluate various document options – from slides to brochures – and test messaging strategies. To develop the content, Copper interviewed senior leaders to help the business articulate its corporate story. Copper’s in-house design and writing team opted for an interactive PDF, because:
- customers would be able to see only what was relevant to them
- it is a high-impact tool that brings consistency to how the business presents itself
- this format enables presenters to tailor marketing and sales conversations by selecting relevant sectors, technologies and customer challenges.
Value delivered
- The result was a user-friendly, premium interactive document that was well received across the organisation.
- Although it was more than 100 pages long, the PDF’s design meant customers only saw what was relevant to them.
- The client could clearly and consistently articulate its mission and values for the first time.
