Copper Consultancy has joined forces with major project professionals around the world as part of a powerful new knowledge-sharing network to improve project initiation and delivery.
The new Major Projects Knowledge Hub, created by the Major Projects Association, is an active global user community dedicated to sharing learning, good practice and innovation.
It works by giving members the benefit of insight, data and lessons learned by people who have the experience, as well as community discussion forums and by sharing open-access content that anyone can use, modify and distribute freely.
The aim is to improve the initiation and delivery of major projects.
Copper’s Chairman Claire Gordon said the launch of the Knowledge Hub was good news for projects and an initiative to which Copper, with its specialist knowledge of communications for infrastructure, could wholeheartedly contribute.
“Improving the communications of an infrastructure project at initiation helps to reduce the risk created by launching a project publicly. This is a great opportunity to share our best practice, innovation and lessons across the industry. It means we can help increase project certainty and help realise the many social benefits major projects bring to the communities they serve.”
