Ceyda Dag offers her insight into life as an Account Executive at Copper.
I started my journey at Copper Consultancy as a Junior Account Executive a year ago, and what a journey it’s been.
A small company with great opportunities
I certainly made the right choice by joining the team at Copper – nowhere else would I have been able to gain this much experience and progress my career in such a short period of time. Copper encourages me to be the best consultant I can be by making sure that I have all the support I need to successfully deliver my projects.
Getting that all-important experience
Making photocopies or coffee runs were certainly not on my to-do list. I was assigned to countless projects over the past year – getting stuck in from the start was definitely the best way to learn on the job. Here at Copper we work together as one team, sharing knowledge and skills across projects. Gaining practical hands-on experience has been a satisfying beginning to my career in a consultancy.
Environment is key
Working in a friendly environment with like-minded and passionate people mean I wake up every morning excited by the prospect of heading in to the office – yes, even on Mondays! I look forward to developing my skills further and working on more nationally significant projects with Copper Consultancy.
One year later
One year later I am now managing my own suite of projects. Importantly, I’ve found that the learning never ends. As I gained more experience and confidence, I got stuck in to attracting new business and supporting multiple leads which would ultimately translate into account wins for Copper. It’s truly rewarding to be able to contribute to the success of the company as a whole from the very start.
