Copper’s programme of webinars with experts across our industry is continuing in 2021 after some fantastic events over the past few months.

Our next webinar will be held on Wednesday 17 February tackling the issue of ‘How to meet the 2030 Electric Vehicle challenge without a rush for the finish line’. With less than 10 years to prepare for the ban on petrol and diesel vehicles, our panel including representatives from Good Energy, Connected Kerb, CKDelta and Infrastructure Intelligence will discuss the hurdles to unlocking the potential of EVs in the UK.

Then at the end of February we will address the future of city development in two webinars. ‘Reshaping Towns and Cities in a post-COVID world’, being held on Tuesday 23 February, will tackle how to achieve effective and sustainable urban planning in the aftermath of the Coronavirus crisis. Our expert panel will include speakers from Urban Vision, Policy Exchange, Gateley Legal and the CBRE.

Then on Thursday 25 February Copper will team up with the Institute of Economic Development to take a closer look at how the public view investment in places and how better engagement can help deliver successful projects and make the case for investment in new schemes.

Looking ahead to March we will first address the Spring Budget in ‘The bounce back Budget? Putting the green economy at the heart of the recovery’. This webinar will take place on Monday 1 March.

We will then address the future of aviation as well as unlocking opportunities in renewables projects for coastal communities. ‘Preparing for take-off in a post-COVID world – Future-proofing aviation infrastructure’ will take place on Thursday 4 March. Meanwhile ‘“Levelling out” – enabling coastal communities to benefit from renewables projects’ will be held on Thursday 11 March.

We hope you can join us for these sessions to share your own views on tackling a range of complex issues facing the infrastructure sector in 2021 and beyond. Please sign up through the links above.
