• Copper Consultancy to jointly host ‘Using Data to Make UK Infrastructure ‘Recovery Ready’ on Wednesday 27th May, 13:00, alongside CKDelta
  • Registration for the event is open now
  • Speakers include: Geoff McGrath and James Gore

Copper Consultancy, communications and engagement specialists for complex infrastructure and development, and data specialists, CKDelta, will be jointly hosting a webinar to discuss what advanced data science and predictive analytics can tell us about the demands that will be placed on the UK’s infrastructure as the country recovers from COVID-19.

Leading the discussion will be Geoff McGrath, Managing Director of CKDelta and James Gore, Account Director at Copper Consultancy. Speakers from across the industry will be invited to join the discussion on the day.

CKDelta, part of CK Hutchison Holdings, design and lab-test bespoke data models for businesses, using diverse anonymised data sets, to both understand what is happening now, and to predict what is coming.

The 2019 general election was dominated by discussions of an infrastructure revolution. Billions of pounds of investment was promised to help improve connectivity and productivity, and to improve prosperity in regions outside of London and the South East.

This all changed when the UK became caught up in the global COVID-19 pandemic, and everything changed – plans were put on hold, projects curtailed and planning applications stalled.

As the UK begins to emerge from the devastation caused by COVID-19, questions concerning how we should respond to changes in consumer demand and behavior and how we plan for the right infrastructure revolution must all now be at the forefront of discussion.

CKDelta will be unveiling its UK Recovery Index, tracking key metrics across transport, retail, tourism and trade to provide an up-to-the-minute snapshot of the state of the nation to help guide planning for the recovery.

Copper Consultancy, will be discussing these metrics and what they mean for UK infrastructure.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27th May at 13:00. A question and answer session will follow the discussion. For those unable to attend, a recording of the webinar will be available following the event for those who have registered.
