Copper, the specialist infrastructure, property and built environment communications consultancy, is expanding its operations in the Midlands to accommodate a period of sustained growth in the region. The Company’s expansion plan includes moving to a new larger office in Birmingham and launching a recruitment drive.

The development comes at an exciting time for the Midlands, with some of the largest and most important infrastructure and development projects taking place in the region.

A spate of new client wins and growth, including HS2 and Laing O’Rourke Murphy (LM), Highways England, National Grid, Atkins, Jaguar Land Rover and West Midlands Interchange, means Copper is also recruiting across a range of levels.

Copper’s Chair, Claire Gordon said: “Copper’s base here places us in the heart of Birmingham, alongside the exciting growth and regeneration being driven forward in the Midlands. Our experience will add value and depth to the delivery of the region’s complex infrastructure and development projects. With that in mind, we are seeking to further expand our team and are interested in hearing from ambitious, talented and experienced communicators who are interesting in making their own contribution to the future of the Midlands.”

Copper is a leading UK communications agency specialising in supporting the planning and delivery of major infrastructure and development projects, including around 20 nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs). In addition to fast growing operations in Birmingham, Copper has long-established London and Bristol offices, which are also recruiting for new staff to deliver high profile projects across the transport, energy, construction and property sectors.
