Copper has been crowned winner of the ‘Large Consultancy of the Year’ in the South East, South West and Midlands at this year’s Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Dare Awards. This comes as Copper celebrates 25 years in infrastructure communications and hot on the heels of being named the winner of the CIPR’s ‘Specialist Consultancy of the Year’ Excellence Award.

Taking place between May and July, the DARE Awards recognise excellence within each of the key regions and nations of the UK from practitioners working in both consultancy and in-house environments. There are five ceremonies of the DARE Awards, covering Scotland and Northern Ireland, the South East, the South West and Wales, the North and the Midlands.

Ben Heatley, Managing Partner at Copper, said: “We are delighted to scoop three awards at this year’s PRCA Dare Awards. Despite the challenges, 2020 was a record year for Copper, winning new work, continuing to deliver excellent work for our clients and more talented people joining our team. It really is only made possible thanks to their hard work and dedication to communicating the need for essential national infrastructure. Thank you to them and to our clients and partners for their ongoing support.”

The PRCA is the world’s largest professional PR body, representing more than 35,000 PR professionals in 70 countries worldwide and acting as a global advocate for excellence in public relations.
