Copper is pleased to announce its involvement in the West Midlands Interchange project. The project will deliver a new strategic rail freight interchange next to Junction 12 of the M6 along with six to eight million sq ft of warehousing.

Copper is delivering communications and consultation for this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). The West Midlands Interchange is the twelfth NSIP for which Copper has provided support.

A strategic rail freight interchange is something that has been long identified as essential for the future prosperity of the West Midlands region. The project has the ability to deliver 6,500 to 8,500 jobs as well as easing congestion on the region’s roads, and contributing to the country’s freight transportation network.

The project is being developed by Four Ashes Limited – a consortium led by Kilbride Holdings, a company specialising in rail infrastructure to serve business and industry. Kilbride Holdings is working in partnership with the privately owned international property group,  Grosvenor Group and the majority landowner.
