The results from Copper’s annual client satisfaction survey are in and we are delighted to report that once again client feedback was extremely positive.

As part of Copper’s continuous drive for improvement and the highest levels of client service, we issue an annual online survey to clients to ask for feedback on our performance.  The survey is anonymous in order to encourage frank and honest feedback.

The results of the survey contribute to the direction the company takes moving forward and to our understanding of what we do well, and perhaps what we could do even better.

Copper Chairman Claire Gordon says, “Copper’s strategic consultancy and tactical delivery, in support of infrastructure and development, is now stronger than ever before. But we’re not complacent and work continuously to improve our standards for the benefit of our clients and dedicated Copper team.”

Key results from the 2016 client satisfaction survey include:

  • When asked to rate the work that Copper delivers, 98.5% of our services scored ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
  • Communications strategies, stakeholder engagement and crisis and issues management were our top scoring three services
  • Areas in which clients said we excelled included strategic input, strategy writing, client relationship management and community initiatives, amongst others
  • In terms of delivery in comparison to competitors, all thought we were ‘in line with’ or delivered ‘more/much more’ – particularly when it came to developing excellent working relationships
  • Finally, in terms of perceptions of Copper, the most popular choices were ‘professional’, ‘knowledgeable’, ‘friendly’ and ‘proactive’.

In last year’s survey, it was commented that Copper could do more to promote our work and the range of services and knowledge we offer to clients. This was taken on board and subsequently one of our highlights of the last 12 months was the launch of our ‘Attitudes to Infrastructure’ report.

This thought leadership initiative has been much praised by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, the National Infrastructure Commission and the Institution of Civil Engineers as a ground-breaking study which seeks to broaden public understanding of the national infrastructure requirement. We are delighted to say that we are currently in the midst of planning the next phase of this research, due to be launched later this year.
