Copper, the specialist infrastructure, property and built environment communications consultancy, has continued its expansion in the Midlands with the appointment of three new recruits to its recently opened Birmingham office.

After an extensive recruitment drive launched earlier this year, the arrivals of Kelly Ruston, Allan Fatah and Josh Storer will bring a diverse range of skills and experience to the company’s growing operations.

Kelly joins the company as a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in designing and delivering award-winning creative campaigns across the public and private sectors, both in the UK and at a pan-European level.

Account Manager, Allan, has extensive experience operating across cultures, providing considered communications, stakeholder engagement and wider CSR consultancy services for private and public industry leaders in the UK and MENA region.

Josh comes to Copper as a Senior Account Executive. A skilled public relations professional and copywriter, Josh has worked on specialist and award-winning communications across a variety of businesses and sectors.

The news follows a series of new client wins for Copper, strengthening the company’s foothold in the Midlands. Adding to the company’s long-established offices in London and Bristol, the growing Birmingham team will work with clients including HS2 and Laing O’Rourke Murphy (LM), Highways England, National Grid, Atkins, Jaguar Land Rover and West Midlands Interchange.

Copper is a leading UK communications agency, specialising in supporting the planning and delivery of major infrastructure and development projects. In addition to fast growing operations in Birmingham, Copper has London and Bristol offices, which are also recruiting for new staff to deliver high profile projects.

Ben Heatley, Director at Copper, said: “This is such an exciting time for the Midlands, with some of the country’s largest and most important infrastructure and development projects taking place throughout the region.

“Our growing base in the heart of Birmingham places us right alongside this regeneration. We are delighted to welcome a trio of recruits whose varied expertise will help the company go from strength to strength as we look to contribute to this growth, both in the Midlands and further afield.”
