Copper has joined the team which plans to re-open Manston Airport in Kent.

Copper is working with RiverOak to secure the historic airport’s aviation future by providing strategic communication, engagement and consultation advice and support to build advocacy for the project. Manston is likely to be the first Development Consent Order (DCO) application submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for an airport and is Copper’s fourteenth Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.

RiverOak is proposing to revive Manston Airport as a hub for international air freight, which also offers passenger and executive travel, and aircraft engineering services. The facility has a unique history stretching back to the First World War.
