Building on existing skills in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation, Copper has launched a new co-design service aimed at public and private sector developers seeking to put communities at the heart of place-making.
The Co-design with Copper approach combines traditional public engagement with innovative tools to enable residents and stakeholders to actively participate in the design process for projects such as new housing developments.
By following the co-design process, clients can build community advocacy and strengthen relationships with stakeholders, helping to make developments an integral part of their local area even before they are built.
Alessia Rosi, Account Manager in Copper’s Economic Development practice, said:
“There is a growing demand for greater consideration of community voices in decision-making and our co-design approach helps developers put local people at the heart of projects while at the same time reducing reputational risk.”
