Introducing Simon Masters, Coppers new senior hire for its infrastructure practice.

Simon is a Chartered public relations practitioner and joins Copper from Arup,. With experience specialising in communications planning, public relations, stakeholder engagement and consultation for nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Simon has worked with high-profile clients such as National Highways, Forestry England and National Grid, providing media relations, strategic stakeholder engagement and public affairs advice.

Prior to joining Arup, Simon worked for Network Rail, where he acted as communications lead and spokesperson for various rail projects across the Midlands and South West including reconstruction of the Dawlish sea wall.

Simon began his career in broadcasting, joining the BBC in 2000 as presenter and producer. He then joined traffic data specialists INRIX, managing their Midlands broadcast operation, overseeing a team of data journalists providing live traffic reports and information for global media and automotive companies including Bauer Media Group and Ford.
